Method for evaluation accuracy of milling robots
Cabalka, Jan ; Slaný, Martin (referee) ; Zouhar, Jan (advisor)
This thesis describes the design of methodology for measuring the accuracy of robot machining. It describes the theoretical properties and classification of commercially available methods for precision measurement. In the practical part, a test workpiece is manufactured and positions and toolpaths are measured by the Pontos system. The proposals are based on the MCAE Systems company's equipment.
The utilization of reverse engineering in computation of vehicle aerodynamics
Rozsíval, Jan ; Forman, Matěj (referee) ; Porteš, Petr (advisor)
The vehicle body was measured by using ATOS 3D scanner. Measured data from the ATOS 3D scanner were applied to make a 3D model of vehicle body and to make a 3D model of whole vehicle by using computer program Pro/ENGINEER. The model of vehicle was made with a view for future use of CAD model. Surface of the vehicle model was used for computation of vehicle aerodynamics – aerodynamic static pressure distribution by using CFD software Star-CCM+.

Koten, Stanislav ; Svída, David (referee) ; Beran, Martin (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the creation of a simplified CAD model of the engine using 3D digitizing for installation in the car with a tubular frame. The first part describes the issue of reverse engineering, the second part is devoted to the description and function of the optical measuring system GOM ATOS company and the final section describes the scanning geometry of the engine, after-treatment of polygonal mesh and creating a custom 3D model using Autodesk Inventor 2013.
Increase of Charging Efficiency of 140kW CNG Engine
Hadrava, Martin ; Vančura, Jan (referee) ; Svída, David (advisor)
The master’s thesis is focused on flow analysis work filling in turbocharged CNG engine. The research method is reverse engineering. The intake canal is casted and than scanned by 3D Scanner ATOS. The CAD model is created in program Creo Parametric 2.0. In the created interactive model is simulated flow in the CFD program Star CCM +. The air intake system is modified for increasing the charging efficiency of the engine.
Suspension Kinematics Points Measurement with Use of Measurement Device Tritop
Fišer, Radoslav ; Svída, David (referee) ; Blaťák, Ondřej (advisor)
Bc. Radoslav Fišer Suspension kinematics points measurement with use of measurement device Tritop MT, IAE, 2008, sites 58, pictures 45 We compare methods of obtaining input data for sotwares simulating kinematic and dynamic characretistics of vehicle suspension. Digitizing system working with three dimensional coordinates Tritop and Atos is used for measurement. With repeated measuring we investigate accuracy, time hefftines and suitability of methods for car suspension mesurement. Special targest were developed to use with Tritop device measurement.
Analysis of Tube Bulging Process
Zdráhala, Radim ; Císařová, Michaela (referee) ; Peterková, Eva (advisor)
The diploma thesis is focused on the analysis of the behavior of the thin-walled tubular test specimen during the technological test of the liquid draining of the tubes. The test specimen ‘in the form a tube was made of austenitic stainless steel 17 240 (1.4301, X5CrNi18-10). During the experiment, the radial expanding tool was quasi-statically charged by the internal fluid pressure. In the introductory part, the thesis focuses on the stress-strain description of the method of tube bulging and possible ways of detecting the strain of material during forming. The experimental part is primarily focused on the analysis of the test sample that was obtained from the experiment. Theoretical approaches were used to analyze the real test sample to detect strain and stress in material, numerical simulation of the bulge process and 3D ATOS scanning device, which helped clarify behavior tube during bulging process. At the end of the thesis is proposed possible design of the tool. This modification should contribute in the future to the full functionality of the radial expanding tool, or the bulging of the tube by liquid.
Calibration of GOM ATOS optical coordinate measuring machines
Košťák, Ondřej ; Jankových, Róbert (referee) ; Harčarík, Matej (advisor)
This master’s thesis contains the basic division of 3D methods which are used for reconstruction of measured objects. Furthermore the types of structured light patterns used for 3D triangulation. It also contains a description of the construction and functions of GOM ATOS and TRITOP machines. Primarily the thesis deals with the calibration of these machines, the design of suitable materials standard of size and the internal calibration methodology used by ŠKODA AUTO a.s. The text also includes verification of the proposed calibration procedure in practice, proposal for determination of calibration uncertainties and recommendations for practice.
Design of airframe mold for ultra-light aircraft manufacturing
Zatočilová, Aneta ; Dočkal, Aleš (referee) ; Paloušek, David (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with digital data processing during the design of a mould of ultralight airplane airframe. The final digital model meets the demands on manufacturability by using CNC machining. The realization, in compliance with the reverse engineering approach, was conceived in four phases, which had to be solved step by step in order to preserve the continuity of the process. The phases correspond to the main chapters of the practical part of the thesis. The first part is focused on 3D digitalization of airplane fuselage by using an optic scanner ATOS and photogrammetric system Tritop. The result of this part is digital data of fuselage geometry in form of polygon grid. Next part deals with software reconstruction of collected data – by optimizing polygon grid in order to provide suitable base for surface modeling. The third part, the most time demanding, handles the creation of airplane fuselage surface model. Geometry has to satisfy requirements for smoothness and tangential or curvative connection of surfaces, including other requirements resulting from model usage. The final part of the thesis documents the procedure of deriving a mould from the aircraft fuselage geometry.
Creating of technology for turbine wheel machining
Urbánek, Aleš ; Sedlák, Josef (referee) ; Zouhar, Jan (advisor)
This diploma work deals with manufacturing technology of a turbine wheel. In first part is introduced description of equipment used for reverse engineering. In next part are clamping possibilities for cutting operations. The part of this diploma thesis is verification of a semi-product using ATOS system and proposal of establishment and clamping. Purpose of the work is technology preparation and production of clamping device for milling by the machining centre MCV 1210.
Design modification of the vehicle upright
Coufal, Jiří ; Blaťák, Ondřej (referee) ; Vančura, Jan (advisor)
This master´s thesis deals with design modification of specific upright in response to exchange the caliper for non-series one. It focuses on the creation and subsequent adjustment of the 3D model based on obtained size and shape of real upright by using 3D scan. For the editing part is conducted the strength test by using FEM and the results are compared with the values of the original upright.
